Keep your zodiac notebook cover looking its best with simple, practical care steps. This guide covers cleaning, storage, and maintenance tips tailored for Papier Cancer and other designs at Baronfig.

Quick Answer

Clean your zodiac notebook cover with a soft, dry cloth and avoid moisture. Store it away from direct sunlight to preserve the print. Use a gentle eraser for minor marks on the Papier Cancer cover.

Why Zodiac Notebook Covers Need Special Care

Zodiac notebook covers often feature detailed prints and metallic highlights that can fade or scratch with rough handling. The Cancer design from Papier, available at Baronfig, uses a delicate ink finish that benefits from gentle maintenance.

A common mistake is using water or cleaning sprays, which can lift the print or cause paper covers to warp. Non-fabric covers need a different approach than leather or canvas notebooks you might already own.

Step-by-Step Care for Your Zodiac Cover

Step 1: Dust the cover with a dry microfiber cloth: Gently wipe the cover from top to bottom to remove dust and loose particles. Do not press hard on printed areas. Checkpoint: Using a wet cloth is a common mistake — moisture can damage the print finish.
Step 2: Erase light marks with a soft art eraser: For smudges or pencil marks on the Cancer cover, rub lightly with a clean white eraser. Test on a hidden corner first. Checkpoint: Avoid colored or rough erasers that may leave residue or scratch the surface.
Step 3: Store upright away from direct sunlight: Place the notebook on a shelf or desk, spine down, out of prolonged sun exposure. Sunlight can fade zodiac prints over months.
Step 4: Keep away from liquids and high humidity: Do not set drinks on the cover or carry it in a bag that may get wet. If the paper cover gets damp, blot immediately with a dry towel. Checkpoint: Mould growth is a risk in humid environments — store in a cool, dry place.
